C: How did your journey as yogi begin?

T: Years ago to over come PTSD, heartbreak and grief. Yoga has truly always been there to help me pick myself up and let ago! I embarked on the yoga teacher journey 10 years ago and will forever be a student and teacher! In life we are forever changing, its the human process, this practice helps guide you through all the ups and downs. It much more than a physical practice. It’s very spiritual and self realizing. You can take the practice anywhere and apply your mindful thinking at all times. Yoga is a practice that has helped me in so many dimensions of my life. The real journey began when I found the practice of self love and care. Something I didn’t know we could have.

C: Why did you decide to start 420 yoga, and with that what makes you so passionate about cannabis?

The owners of Club Space asked me if I would be down- and of course that was a big yes for me. Here we are 8 years later and every class feels so special, like its the first. The energy is one of a kind. It’s a big container of of love! As we have grown, its just so beautiful to see everyone come to feel good and honor the leaf, self care, music, flow, and breathe together as a community.

The 420 team is truly magical! They’re such a unique group, all invested in helping each others, themselves, and the community. Its because of this that we’ve recently created The Higher Love Collective, a very special community so stayed tuned for that.

Cannabis has been there for me since the day I found out it calms my anxiety. I have been personally using cannabis instead of Big Pharma grounding before yoga and can be found very healing. I have always infused my practices making them canna friendly.

C: What’s your “go to” ritual when your at home smoking/doing yoga?

T: When I’m home I wake up have a few puffs, turn up some good music, make some yummy coffee and jump in my mat. My mornings are high vibrational all around. Little breath work, essential oils, and get a good mindset on with some affirmations. I always fill my cup with gratitude! Cannabis has grounding benefits and high frequencies .The leaf has always helped drop in to focus on me and my goals! Self love and care are my rituals.
